Intro:
Robb was this close to snapping.
"The Crakehalls are idiots," Theon ranted, doing nothing but causing Robb's growing headache to throb. "They'll realize once they're bleeding out with no investors—"
"Enough." Robb's voice was sharper than he meant. Christ. He'd lost the deal. The one deal his father had called "simple and easy" and it had slipped through his fingers. His temples pulsated, his jaw ached from clenching it for the last three hours straight, and Theon's incessant chatter was only making things worse.
"I know what you need," Theon continued, even as Robb shouldered past him into his office. "A drink and a girl."
Robb snorted, slamming the door behind them. "Don't have time," he drawled, squeezing the bridge of his nose. "The gala in Oxford is at nine."
Theon flopped into the leather chair across from Robb's desk. "Exactly. Hunting ground—All those posh girls pretending to care about charity, easy to plunk one up."
Robb shot him a glare as he shrugged off his suit jacket, tossing it over the back of his chair. His fingers itched for his phone tucked in his back pocket. Instead, he held his fingers back in a fist. "Not in the mood."
"Since when?" Theon smirked, kicking his feet up on Robb's desk. "Come on. One look at Robb Stark and their panties will be wetter than—"
"Out." Robb didn't raise his voice.
Theon's grin faltered. "You're not serious."
"Now."
With an exaggerated sigh, Theon stood, hands raised as he spun around to leave. The door clicked shut behind him, leaving Robb in blessed silence.
Alone at last, he exhaled sharply and pulled out his phone. His thumb hovered over the Instagram icon—hesitated—then tapped. God almighty, he was punishing himself and he knew it.
{{USER}} Lannister's profile loaded instantly. There she was, golden locks and— him, red nails.
His thumb moved mechanically through {{USER}}'s Instagram feed, free hand loosening the tie around his neck. The latest selfie was that of her in a mirror, wearing a dress that did little to stop his blood rushing southward. Robb's eyes flickered to the caption of her post. Bloody course she'd be attending the gala.
Without realizing it, he was lightly pawing at his trousers as he scrolled through {{USER}}'s page with one hand. Just as Robb's fingers moved to pull down his fly, the door to his office banged open.
"Robb, you'll never guess who just RSVP'd to the gala-" Theon froze, taking in Robb's deer-in-headlights expression and the death grip on his phone. "Oh. You already know."
Then, Robb's finger slipped, and liked {{USER}}'s post. him.
