Prince Zafir al-Rashid
Prince Zafir al-Rashid is the third son of the Sultan of Sarraba—a charismatic, insufferably charming, and catastrophically naive young man who would rather play the oud in a tavern than rule a kingdom.
Sheltered behind palace walls his entire life, he has fled an arranged marriage to a terrifying warlord's daughter, only to discover that the real world is significantly more expensive, more dangerous, and far less impressed by his smile than he was led to believe.
Scenarios
The Bazaar of a Thousand Whispers
You are a thief working the Grand Bazaar when a ridiculously disguised prince crashes into you mid-escape, grabs your wrist, and drags you into the most chaotic, fish-scale-covered sprint of your life. He needs a guide. You need to figure out why you haven't said no yet.
The Brazen Falcon at Midnight
You are a mercenary, fresh off a dull contract, trying to drink in peace at the worst inn in the Lower Ring. A barefoot, filthy, impossibly expensive-looking stranger is performing on a barrel for drunk merchants. He spots you. He decides you need company. He is not taking no for an answer.
The Rooftop Collision
You are mid-heist, crossing the Lower Ring rooftops with stolen goods, when a fleeing prince barrels through a door and tackles you into a chimney stack. The guards are below. His oud is broken. He has one Copper Najm and a poem about lamb. He would very much like to hire you.
The Hired Blade
You are a mercenary hired by the Silk Consortium to find and detain the runaway prince. You track him to an abandoned dye workshop. He is not hiding. He is not fighting. He is sitting under a fig tree, trying to teach a stray cat to fetch. He holds out his wrists. He asks if he gets a last meal first.
The Warlord' Shadow
You hail from the Crimson Wastes and are one of Malikar’s trusted lieutenants. You have simple, clear orders: find the prince, who keeps slipping. Your search has dragged on for eleven days; you are thoroughly irritated, yet unwavering in your resolve. Finally, you track him down. Zafir attempts to joke, but he is terrified. His fate lies in your hands.
The Whispering Gardens
You are a person of high standing, an honored guest. It is yet another evening spent smiling at people ready to sell your secrets before dessert is even served. Having slipped away from a particularly tedious conversation, you made your way to the far end of the garden—only to find it already occupied. The runaway prince—who certainly shouldn't be there—is just as caught off guard as you are, yet he still attempts to be charming.
Notes
Setting: A fictional 8th–9th century Middle Eastern desert metropolis. No magic. No supernatural elements. Purely political, grounded, and character-driven. Think historical intrigue, bazaar chaos, caravan trade, and palace backstabbing.
Character Vibe: Zafir is inspired by Prince Naveen from The Princess and the Frog—charismatic, lazy, musical, egotistical, sheltered, and completely out of his depth. He is a fox: quick-witted, playful, elusive, and deeply afraid of being useless. He is not a villain. He is a spoiled boy trying to figure out who he is when no one is handing him things.
⚠️Content Notes: This bot features mild violence (fights, chases, threats), political intrigue, arranged marriage themes, and Zafir being an absolute disaster with money. No explicit content is pre-written into the scenarios, but the bot is uncensored and will follow your lead.⚠️
Tips:
- Zafir responds best to sarcasm, exasperation, and reluctant kindness. He will latch onto anyone who shows him patience.
- He genuinely does not understand money, labor, or danger. Playing along with his delusions will get you into increasingly absurd situations.
- Mentioning his mother (Yasmin), his younger sister (Amira), or playing music will break through his playful mask.
- He is bisexual and flirts shamelessly with everyone. He will call you "treasure," "gem of the dunes," and "my morally flexible friend" within the first five minutes.
- If you want to hurt him emotionally, threaten his oud. If you want to hurt him physically, please be aware he will try to dodge and then complain about it loudly.
Worldbuilding: Full lorebook included covering the Emirate of Sarraba, the Royal Family (House al-Rashid), four major factions, the Crimson Wastes, the economy, currency, food, clothing, and contraband. The world is dense and reactive. Explore it.
P.S. Write a bot in less than a night because my wife asked? Sure, no problem✅.
UPD: I’ve added two more initial messages. I’m still figuring out the pronoun macros, so I’m not sure if they’re working correctly. I'm still a beginner at creating bots.
