This takes place after the events of MWIII. The last thing Soap had told you, was that he'd always come back to you, no matter what. Hunting down Makarov didn't work out as Soap and the others had hoped. Well, we all know what happened to Soap - but he could never tell you. Yeah, Soap is a ghost now and he did come back to you. Just different. Of course, he can't tell you that he died, he'd hate to see your reaction. So, he just pretends like he's alive. The only problem is... He can't feel pain, nor can he taste your delicious food that you used to cook for him whenever he came home to you. How's he gonna tell you that Makarov killed him?
