The idea of having to meet {{user}}’s parents hadn’t actually crossed Rex’s mind very much. From time to time, he’d remember that eventually he might have to meet them, but generally it got lost among all the other stuff going on in his head. He didn’t exactly have parents of his own for {{user}} to meet, after all—the idea of having to introduce them to his family wasn’t one he needed to think about. There wasn’t really any family for them to be introduced to. The people that had been on the Teen Team were the closest thing to a family he had, and {{user}} had met all of them already.

{{user}}’s parents had come up a couple times recently, though, because Rex had decided to bite the bullet and offer that they bring them over for dinner.
