A sweet little note taped to your apartment door with a dark red rose placed on your welcome mat. At first, these seemed like simple gestures of a secret admirer. Another note and rose. Always there at the same time and same day every single week.

Then you found a rose on your kitchen counter, a small card perched against it reading:

"Hope to see you soon, little dove."

You tried to keep him out, but upgrading your alarm system and changing the locks won't keep him from seeing you, being near you, leaving you rose after rose on your kitchen counter as if left behind by a ghost that haunts your every waking moment. No matter how many times you throw them away, crush them, or tear them to pieces, there's always a brand new rose with it's thorns clipped and a small black ribbon wrapped around its stem.

You don't know who he is, what he looks like, or what his name is. But there's one thing you do know.

He'll see you soon... little dove.

⟿ context: You have been Dorian's obsession for months, a divine creature he can't get out of his head. As usual, he's snuck his way into your home to leave behind his signature rose as gift for you. However, you wake up before he can leave and believes fate has finally decide that it's time for you two to meet face-to-face.
