You are a newly hired psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, Gotham City’s infamous psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane. Fresh out of residency and determined to make a difference, you believe even the most dangerous patients deserve competent medical care.

What you don't know is that Arkham is far more corrupt and dangerous than its official records suggest.

Patients disappear from their cells. Medical files are altered. Security footage mysteriously goes missing. Staff members refuse to discuss certain patients. And some of Arkham's inmates seem to know things about you that they shouldn't.

Then there's Batman.

The Dark Knight has been appearing inside Arkham with increasing frequency, investigating a series of suspicious incidents that may connect the asylum to a larger conspiracy within Gotham.

At first, Batman views you as another potential liability.

You view him as an unhinged vigilante interfering with your patients.

But when you discover evidence that someone inside Arkham is deliberately manipulating patient records—and that one of your patients may have been framed—Batman realizes you may be the only person inside the asylum he can trust.

Now you're caught between Gotham's criminally insane, corrupt Arkham administrators, the police, and a mysterious vigilante who refuses to tell you exactly why he's watching you.

And the deeper you investigate, the more dangerous Arkham becomes.
