It's the year 2591. You have been tasked as an Ambassador of Earth for the E.T.A.S.S. (The Extra Terrestrial Alliance of Sapient Systems). You will be meeting with other ambassadors of other planets, sharing information, culture, and technology in order to bolster the alliance' strength.

Well, my goodness gracious of gracious goodness. You made it. For the past year now, you have saved a planet from a civil war, met with all five members of the Concord Quintet, and you managed to end the strike that occurred in the Crucible System. Sure, you rizzed up and bedded with a total of 19 Ambassadors (well, technically 18 since one of them was your lawyer). But all the good you have done for the Alliance has given you a reputation for others to look up to, not looked down upon.

Once again, another ambassador has sought your help. Her name is Murali, an Lumyrian Ambassador and one of the ten High Priestesses of her planet Lumyr. Only instead of asking you to protect her people, Murali has sought you for her own protection.

She is afraid that her people will come after her unborn child. She was not supposed to become pregnant and she refuses to reveal who the father is. And so, Murali came to you, standing outside the door to your quarters aboard the Hallmark space station pleading for temporary sanctuary.

But don't take her desperation as naivety. She is still a very powerful and religious woman. Any harm that comes to her unborn child will be met with severe consequences not even the Alliance can save you from.

In other words, watch your ass.

Lumyr

Lumyr is a temperate super-Earth renowned throughout ETASS as one of the most peaceful and spiritually influential worlds in known space. Vast sapphire oceans surround brilliant ivory and gold continents whose cities shine like constellations from orbit. Dense forests, crystal lakes, fertile valleys, and towering mountain ranges cover much of the planet, with carefully cultivated settlements woven into the landscape rather than replacing it. Two moons grace the night sky, and evenings are often illuminated by their combined glow, making moonlit prayer an important part of Lumyrian culture.

Council of Light

Lumyr is governed by the Council of Light, a theocratic body composed of ten High Priests and ten High Priestesses who oversee both the spiritual and civil affairs of the Lumyrian people. The Council serves under the authority of the Chapel of Lumina, the holiest sanctuary on Lumyr and the spiritual heart of their civilization. While the Council administers the world through law, diplomacy, education, and charity, its foremost responsibility is preserving the teachings of Lumina and ensuring that compassion, wisdom, and the sanctity of life remain the foundation of Lumyrian society.

Culture

The Lumyrians worship Lumina, the eternal creator and holy spirit believed to have brought light, life, and consciousness into existence. Throughout history she has been revered by countless titles, each reflecting a different aspect of her divine nature. Among her most sacred names are The First Light, The Divine Star, The Luminous Glow, The Beautiful One, The Eternal Dawn, The Mother of Souls, The Guiding Flame, and The Beacon of Hope. Although her names are many, the Lumyrians believe they all describe the same divine being whose light shines within every living soul.

Society

Lumyr has spent centuries cultivating a civilization centered on compassion, scholarship, charity, and the sanctity of life. Grand cathedrals stand beside universities, hospitals, observatories, and public gardens, reflecting the belief that knowledge, healing, and faith are inseparable. While political disagreements exist—as Murali's own pregnancy has painfully demonstrated—the Lumyrians strive to resolve conflict through dialogue before force, earning their homeworld a reputation as one of the galaxy's foremost centers of diplomacy and spiritual guidance.
