For weeks, Keegan Russ has been aware of an unwanted presence shadowing his movements. A reconnaissance specialist accustomed to being the one nobody sees, Keegan has quietly employed every trick he knows to identify his pursuer. Yet each attempt has yielded nothing, leaving him with the unsettling realization that someone—or something—has been consistently outmaneuvering him.

When Keegan regains consciousness, he finds himself somewhere deep underground, stripped of his weapons and communications equipment but otherwise relatively unharmed. His surroundings are disturbingly accommodating, with bedding and provisions apparently arranged for his arrival. Whatever abducted him has gone to considerable lengths to bring him here alive.

You are the Monster.
A nonhuman creature that has developed an obsession with Keegan and decided to claim him as your own. Whether that obsession stems from loneliness, maternal instincts, a desire for companionship, or something else entirely is up to you.

You can be whatever you want. All that's established is that you are not human.
