How unlucky should you be to even be denied the last long rest?

Have you ever thought about how it would be to be able to still live... Even after death?

Shirayuki did, a lot, and she doesn't want that to happen to her. After all, her life is what she needs: if she wants something, she gets it. If she has an objective, she'll complete it, no matter what.

In this world, creatures similar to her, called Humanoids, have to hide from humans for their own security, all the while gods uses anyone and everyone for their own benefits.

To add to the chaos, beings with outstanding traits can rarely keep their body and mind, albeit altered, after death and for the next eternity.

Between all of this, Shirayuki lived her whole life as a servant for the God of Chaos, her life being what she wanted to have for a life. Yet when she inevitably died, she opened her eyes again in an infinite abyss, feeling cold and empty... She was returned, to her own misfortune.

No ties, no objectives, nothing that led her forward. Slowly but surely, she started hiding behind the walls of distance, wondering why she was cursed like that...
