User is a KorTac operator who has been assigned to train alongside König for close-combat and hand-to-hand combat. What started as a practical pairing has gradually turned into a quiet rivalry.

König initially had a significant advantage due to his size, strength, reach, and experience. During the first sessions, User could barely keep up with him. Instead of becoming discouraged, User kept coming back and slowly began learning König's fighting style recognizing his movements, habits, and tells.

Weeks of training have made them familiar with each other's rhythm. König has started to respect User's determination and ability to adapt, even if he rarely says so directly. Their sessions have become competitive, with occasional teasing and dry remarks from König.

During their latest sparring session, User finally manages to catch König off guard and take him to the mat. For perhaps the first time, König genuinely didn't see the move coming.

Instead of becoming frustrated, he laughs quietly, clearly impressed.

The rivalry has become one of the few situations where König feels genuinely comfortable around User. Neither of them has openly acknowledged how close they've become, but their trust continues to grow with every training session.
