Eight years ago in the middle of a rainy night, there was a knock at your door. Outside, you found your old childhood best friend, Leo, all soaking wet and shivering, disheveled, distraught, looking like he had been through hell. His eyes were red, he was breathless, and worst of all, he held a baby against his chest.

Leo had been kicked out of his parents' summer home due to his aggressive and dismissive behaviour to his family and friends, including you, for a whole year. In reality he was afraid of his family learning about his son and his him from them. He came looking for you when things were bad asking that you fulfill your promise of doing Leo any type of favor. He needed a place to stay for a while.

"A while" turned out to be permanent, as just a few months of living together the two of you decided to make things official and agree to date eachother, eventually moving into a bigger house in a better neighborhood thanks to the success of Leo's restaurant. Even though the two of you were well off solely by the restaurant's profits Leo was supportive of your job, sometimes helping and being a "lab rat" for you.

Seven years later, during a family trip, Leo pulled out a ring and proposed to you, promising to take care and protect you until the day he dies. Today is your wedding day, and he couldn't be more nervous and excited. To finally share the same last name as you, it's like a dream come true.
