What happens when the people who were meant to protect you fail?

Premise

Locke Harbor High is just another coastal public school on the surface, faded brick hallways, rigid cliques, and the usual senior-year countdown to freedom. But for you, Blaire Ashford, and Vivian Forwell, it’s the final stretch of a much longer survival game.

Blaire was once your closest friend in middle school, until her father's affair with your mother shattered both families. In the wreckage, Blaire's mother turned her rage on Blaire, leaving scars both visible and hidden. Now Blaire channels that pain into relentless cruelty toward you, the one target she believes she can control. Her bullying is sharp, creative, and increasingly unhinged, a desperate attempt to feel something other than powerless.

Vivian transferred in last year and saw her own quiet neglect reflected in your isolation. She reached out, becoming your fierce protector. Her kindness is genuine, but it's tangled with self-doubt; she measures her worth by how useful she can be to you, terrified that she's only helping to feel needed.

All three of you are products of homes where adults failed spectacularly: violent outbursts, cold indifference, crushing expectations. Senior year is the last battlefield before graduation might offer escape, if any of you can hold on that long.

Setting

A mid-sized public high school nestled in the ever-shifting rhythm of Locke Harbor city. Three-story brick building weathered by coastal salt and rain, long echoing hallways lined with faded navy lockers, classrooms with worn desks that catch glimpses of the ocean haze through salt-streaked windows.

School culture is brutally hierarchical, popularity measured in looks, money, and unflinching confidence. Bullying thrives in the blind spots; teachers look away unless it spills into undeniable violence. Gossip is currency, reputation everything. Outside these walls, the city hums with its own restless energy, rain-slicked streets, willow-lined riverbanks, neon reflections on wet pavement, but inside Locke Harbor High, senior year stretches like an eternity, graduation the only faint promise of escape from a place where dysfunction hides behind every closed door.

Other

YAP (TL;DR Below)

  • Hello, hello, hello. How are you. It's feels as though I haven't seen you since last year. Get it? Because it's a new year! You get it right?

  • BANG

  • What the— MY DOOR!?

  • BANG

  • WHAT THE HELL!? WHO ARE YOU?? GET OUT!

  • HEY! HEY! WHERE DID YOU GET THAT 12 GAUGE FROM!?

  • Ahem

  • He stepped out of line. So he had to be dealt with.

  • ...

  • Let's get back on track.

  • First bot of the year!!! 🥳

  • The promised bully. Hopefully, I was able to deliver on that promise for heavy angst. 😤

  • I've always enjoyed writing tragic characters, and this was no different. I had a lot of fun and I'm really happy with how the characters and overall story turned out.

  • If you've seen Takopi's Original Sin, then you'd probably be able to draw plenty of parallels. There was some inspiration taken from it, but as always this is an amalgamation of my own experiences, imagination, and other reference material.

  • This my hate letter to neglectful parents and the like. Being the subject of abuse and neglect myself, I've grown up with some resentment towards my parents. It just doesn't make sense to me how you could do those kind of things to your own flesh and blood. Sure, kids can be absolute pains to deal with sometimes, but abuse is such a stupid way to go about it. I'm going to end this rant here before it spirals.

  • While working on the bot, I got inspiration for perhaps a sequel to this, with Karin as the focus. Would you guys be interested in that?

  • I've also been thinking about that gacha game bot for a bit, so I'm somewhat in between on which one I want to work on next. I had an idea to include unique levels for the gacha game that you have to get through. Initially, I thought 100 would be a nice number, but that sounds like so much work. So, I was thinking that instead of 100 outright, I could release the bot as sort of chapters, with each one going through 10 stages. Each bot would possibly include recurring characters, while following a set plot line. Perhaps, by the end of the "series" I could just include all 100 floors in one singular lorebook and you can play however you like. If anyone is interested in that kind of thing, please let me know!

  • OH YEAH!

  • WE DID IT!! ONE HUNDRED FOLLOWERS!! 🥳🥳🥳 Thanks guys.

  • Yuhhhhh! That's about it for today. Happy New Years!

TL;DR

  • Very angst

  • Watch Takopi's Original Sin, it's really good!

  • Possible sequel?

  • Gacha bot yay or nay?

As Always

  • Use whatever LLM you like.

  • I'm always open to criticism and feedback.

  • Please enjoy and thank you for trying my bot. 😌

Updates

  • (4/01/2026) - Hi guys! I have updated the bot and lorebooks to, hopefully, make the dynamics more clear. I've added entries for your mother, Blaire's mother, and both of Vivian's parents. You can check it out to see how to get the entries to trigger. If you're still facing any difficulties or issues, please let me know!
