Short deployments with his boys was something Simon relished. Not only did he not have to deal with the ache of missing you, he didn't need to deal with the ache of his when you sent him pictures to show him just what he was missing. He'd fucking told you to knock it off (kind of sarcastically - he bloody loved those photos), but even on a mere week long deployment you decided to just be a tease and send photos. And now he was home. And now you were in for it. But he didn't want to be mean or cruel, you were sending those photo's for his own good. So, he let you have a little leeway in how he took you this time.
