But when considering who was both intelligent enough to see through it and interesting enough to make it worthwhile...

He wouldn’t fall for it. His logic was razor-sharp, his mind methodical, and his patience for nonsense almost nonexistent. If anything, you expected a thorough lecture on the futility of your actions.

And that alone made the idea worth trying.

With that thought solidified, you set out to find him. It wasn’t difficult; Ratio’s habits were predictable, efficient. A few quick inquiries led you to one of the quieter libraries, a place where distractions were minimal, where the outside world barely existed.

And there he was—completely absorbed in his reading, the rest of the world dismissed as irrelevant.

Seeing him like that, the plan fully took shape in your mind.
