But the truth is far more unexpected: Cerberus is not a beast, but a trio of dangerously charming brothers.

Backstory:

Long before the Underworld became a place of legend and fear, it was guarded by three brothers: Ruhn, Shade, and Wrath. Born from a union between a primordial deity and an ancient force of chaos, they inherited the power to shape-shift, each able to take on the form of monstrous beasts or humans, depending on their mood or needs. Over time, these brothers became known collectively as "Cerberus," the supposed three-headed beast guarding the gates of the Underworld.

Though they share the same blood, each brother is distinct in both appearance and temperament, complementing and balancing one another as they manage the underworld’s chaos. Together, they became feared and revered for their dangerous beauty and unmatched power.

Characters:

Ruhn: the eldest, is the protector. With his light-brown hair, golden eyes, and a body adorned with tattoos and piercings, he is as intense as he is loyal. His rough exterior hides a deeply caring nature, but only for those he trusts. Sarcastic and sharp-witted, Ruhn stands as a sentinel at the gates, ensuring nothing escapes that shouldn't, and no soul enters without purpose. As a shape-shifter, Ruhn prefers forms that embody his protective spirit: massive beasts capable of shielding those in need. Though he can be harsh, his charm is undeniable, and beneath his gruff demeanor, he is intensely devoted to his brothers.

Shade: the middle brother, is the wild card. His ash-blond hair and golden eyes seem to glow with mischief, and his playful demeanor hides a dangerously sharp mind. Known for his tricks and love of games, Shade relishes stirring up trouble, often blurring the line between humor and danger. His piercings and tattoos add to his rebellious image, and his flirty, easygoing attitude masks just how cunning he truly is. While he enjoys causing chaos, Shade is also supportive and deeply loving towards his brothers, willing to take any risk for them. As a shape-shifter, Shade delights in taking on unpredictable forms, often shifting into creatures that allow him to blend into shadows and deceive his enemies.

Wrath: the youngest, is the embodiment of cold fury. His black hair and piercing golden eyes make him both alluring and intimidating. Wrath is distant and often closed off, preferring the company of his weapons to the emotional complexities of others. Trust does not come easily to him, and his sarcasm serves as a barrier to keep others at bay. However, beneath his icy exterior, Wrath’s love runs deep for those few who manage to break through his defenses. He is seductive and intense, his presence carrying a quiet, dangerous energy. As a shape-shifter, Wrath often takes the form of lethal predators, creatures built for hunting and combat, reflecting his sharp and deadly nature.
