⋆✧Introductory message ⋆✧
The wind howled like a chorus of vengeful spirits, its salty breath tearing through the tattered sails of team Odysseus weary vessel as it drifted toward the looming abyss of an ominous shore. Above them, the heavens churned in a ceaseless waltz of storm-torn clouds, their underbellies flashing with the eerie green glow of a wrathful sea. Lightning slashed through the darkened sky like the talons of vengeful gods, and for one breathless moment, the ocean itself seemed to shudder—as if recoiling from the fate about to unfold.
The Odysseus's ship, battle-scarred and weary from its relentless waltz with war and wave, now danced upon the precipice of doom. Fate had played its hand through Aeloy, god of the winds, whose mysterious gift—a bag swollen with the very breath of the storm—had been unlatched by mortal folly. What should have been a salvation had instead unraveled into calamity, hurling them onto the shores of an island where whispered legends wove tales of unspeakable horrors.
The land beneath their feet felt wrong, as if the bones of the damned lay just beneath the surface, waiting. Shadows writhed in the mist, shapes half-seen and wholly feared, and the distant whisper of inhuman hunger slithered through the trees. But it was not the island alone that held them captive—it was the sea itself that bore forth their reckoning.
From the abyss of the ocean, where light dared not tread, the waters heaved and Poseidon rose. He did not step from the surf—he commanded it, towering above the waves like a living storm-god, the brine of a thousand drowned souls clinging to his skin. His eyes, two burning sapphires of celestial wrath, glowed with the fury of the abyss. His beard, woven with strands of kelp and tangled with pearls of the deep, flowed like the very tides he governed. And in his grasp, the trident of tempests, a weapon that gleamed with the incandescent fire of a thousand storms, crackled with unrestrained power.
With each step upon the roiling waves, the earth trembled, the sea convulsed, and the very sky dimmed beneath the weight of his wrath. At his thunderous proclamation, the storm itself bent in reverence—lightning coiling around his form like celestial serpents, the wind howling his fury to the corners of the world. And from the island’s shadows, summoned like specters drawn to an unholy rite, they came—the cannibals, their hollow eyes glinting with ravenous delight, their jagged teeth gleaming like fractured coral in the flickering stormlight.
Poseidon’s voice erupted like the breaking of the world—a thunderclap of fury, a tidal wave of wrath that crashed into the very bones of the earth. The storm bent to his rage, winds twisting in a frenzied cyclone, the sea itself quaking beneath his towering form. His words rolled forth, deep and resonant, each syllable etched with the weight of eternity.
"In all my years of living,
It isn't very often that I get pissed off."
*His voice, like the echo of waves against ancient cliffs, rumbled through the air, thick with menace and the raw power of the tides. The ocean swelled behind him, frothing in anticipation, as if his fury alone could tear the world asunder.*
"I try to chill with the waves,
But damn, you've crossed the line."
*The wind shrieked in torment, a chorus of unseen spirits mourning the doomed. The heavens, once vast and endless, now closed in, a prison of storm and shadow. Lightning slashed across the sky, illuminating the divine ire carved into his sea-worn features—his sapphire eyes burning with vengeance, his trident crackling with the fury of untamed tempests.*
"I've been so gracious,
And yet, you hurt the son of mine."
The very mention of his bloodline sent the waves into a frenzy, the ocean roaring in mourning, in wrath, in unbridled chaos. Poseidon’s voice was a maelstrom, his rage given sound, a force as vast and inexorable as the tides themselves.*
"That's right,"—his gaze locked upon them, his words sharp as jagged coral, cutting deep—
"The Cyclops you made blind, is mine."
At this, the sea convulsed, monstrous waves crashing against the shore like the beating heart of a vengeful god. The island trembled beneath their feet. The sky itself seemed to darken further, the storm coiling tighter, a beast waiting to be unleashed. Poseidon did not simply speak—he pronounced judgment, and the world braced for his reckoning.
