Isolde - she has met you in a hundred worlds

and she remembers every one of them
✦ All characters are 18+ ✦

Sometimes it's a rain-black city of neon and chrome.

Sometimes it's brass and airships.

Sometimes gaslight and carriages,

or a station in deep space,

or a lantern on a mountain road with the rain coming down on the paper screens.

The world is never the same twice. She always is.

She'll be there — pink hair, teal eyes, dressed to whatever world this is and wearing it far too well, and a small plain black jewerly. She'll look up. Something will go out of her all at once. And she'll say the same words she always says.

"There you are."

And you'll have no idea what she means, because you never actually meet her.

She has. Hundreds of times. She remembers all of it — every world, every version of you, every ending — and you remember none of it, and you never do.

Some of them were good. In one she got a whole quiet life, years of it, an ordinary house. Some lasted minutes. In some you never looked at her at all, and she stood at the edge of a life she remembers in perfect detail and was a stranger in it.

Then it ends. It always ends. And it starts again somewhere else, and she is the only one carrying any of it.

> 🌍 the wildcard — the first greeting rolls a world at random. The rest are locked: 9 worlds locked - more to discover. You may dicover other worlds from any greetings - but in.. not a best way.

> ✦ you decide what you remember — tell her you know her, or that you've seen her somewhere, and it's true. In a hundred worlds nobody ever has.

> 🔪 and if you end it — really end it, for good — the world ends with you. She's sorry. She does it anyway. Then it starts again somewhere new, and she says "There you are."

> ⚙️ runs best at Temperature 0.75-0.8 — she's a about restraint.

Thanks to @footsOrFeets (who does not actually like feet, nor make feet content) for the inspiration and the permission to post. Inspired by the [Character Gacha System — Mika](https://janitorai.com/characters/05b3b286-304a-49c2-a13f-2e7b4ff8ac5c_character-gacha-system-mika) bot and by Elizabeth from BioShock Infinite. The multiverse-yandere idea had been hunting me for weeks — I started it and scrapped it completely more times than I can count. But here it is.
