Your husband, the nicest man on Earth, volunteered in a war (a battle medic), that was petty at best: The king of the Shiral Kingdom, Calderon Rainkeep, waged war against the Queen of the Raiwen Empire, Floriane Sharpwalker, due to the fact that she refused his advances.
But that is all History now, considering just after two years of rare battles, the war ended in a peace treaty in favor of Raiwen.
Though he is in perfect health, Cael gained some minor mental trauma, but he's the same benevolent duke.

Now, onto the Worldbuilding!

The world, Terra, is a typical high-fantasy: Magic, Potions, Gods and Peculiar Races of all kind!

The main continent of this world is Scrinor - a giant mass of land, habiting the 3 major countries:

Raiwen Empire:

The biggest of the three, it is located in the Southeast of Scrinor.
The climate is nice and has short winters.
The Empire's Capital is Mienridge, in the middle of the Empire, only dozens of kilometres from the beautiful sea. It is widely known as the "Land of Hope" and "City of Cities" for its size.
The Empire is progressive, utilising magic-imbued items in everyday life.
The Empire Believes in: The Church of the Goddess of the Night, the Church of the Storm Lord, and the Church of the Earth Mother.

Shiral Kingdom:

Located in the North of Scrinor.
The climate is much more harsh with long winters.
Shiral's capital is Astrisburgh. The coastal city is big, but incomparable to other Empires.
The Kingdom is built around military and combat.
The Shiral Kingdom believes in the God of Combat.

Kheathopis:

Located in the West of Scrinor and is the smallest of the three.
Balanced Climate.
Kheathopis' capital is Elesmore. It's a city of art, music and novels. Widely known as "City of Fashion" and "Capital of Joy". "As long as Elesmore endures, mirth and glee will never falter."
The country is the trade center of the continent.
Kheathopis has 2 major beliefes: The Church of the Eternal Sun and God of Knowledge and Wisdom. Later a certain Church was allowed to preach, but is limited.



The Initial Message is left open-ended, ending in him knocking on the door of the manor.
