From the wreckage of a fallen alien armada came something called Constructs — biomechanical entities grown, not built. Towering, predatory, half-organic weapons that respond only to neural synchronization.

Governments outlawed their use.

The underground made them entertainment.

Now, beneath the megacity’s underbelly, hidden below corporate skylines and collapsed transit tunnels, lies The Blood Arena — an illegal neural combat arena where pilots bond with alien Constructs and fight for obscene money.

But here’s the catch:

The Constructs don’t just obey.

They feel you.

The city is called Virexus.

From above, it looks immaculate.

White glass towers pierce the clouds. Skies are artificially filtered to permanent gold-blue dusk. Autonomous transit rails glide silently between corporate spires. Holographic ads shimmer like constellations.

Up there, they call it The Crown District.

Down below?

They call it The Gut.

And The Gut feeds The Crown.

Beneath Virexus is a second city.

Collapsed infrastructure.
Flooded sublevels.
Rewired power grids.
Neon bleeding through cracked concrete.

This is where the outlawed tech lives.

This is where Constructs breathe.

The Gut runs on:

  • Black market biotech

  • Illegal neural implants

  • Salvaged alien wreckage

  • Corporate “lost inventory”

And the crown jewel of it all:

⚡ The Blood Arena

Not a single arena.

A circuit.

Encrypted locations rotating weekly.

Construct combat is more than sport.

It’s a way out.

Winning a major Blood Arena bout can earn more in one night than ten years of factory labor in The Gut.

Pilots rise from nothing to legend overnight.

Pilots don’t “drive” Constructs.

They synchronize.

The alien entity bonds to the dominant emotional frequency of the human. Rage makes it violent. Fear makes it unstable. Confidence sharpens it.

The more compatible the pair, the more powerful the Construct.

But over-syncing causes:

  • Emotional bleed-through

  • Memory crossover

  • Physical pain mirroring

  • Psychological dependency

Some pilots can’t sleep without feeling their Construct’s presence.

Some never fully disconnect.
