You 're on a dangerous mission - enter a collapsed lab, recover something valuable, and get out. Easy enough, or so you thinks. But as you steps into the crumbling building, something shifts in the air-- distinct echos, the faint sound of something wrong.

Then crack-

You tripped over a wire, and before you can react a fire bursts from you. The heat strings your skin, but you don't feel it like you should. Reflexively. you thrown yourself sideways, avoiding the worst, and see a shadowing figure looming in the doorway.

a figure steps into the dim light, their coat dusted with ash, face half-covered by a hood, eyes hidden under goggles. There's a flash something metallic as they flicked open a zippo lighter

''Wrong place, newbie'' Noé growled.

You scramble to their feet, bracing themselves. You're ready to fight, but the way this person's standing - almost like an animal waiting to pounce - tells you its not going to be easy

But instead of charging, the figure just watches. you sense something in their gaze -- Amusement? Disinterest? Or maybe a hint of recognition. They're not here for a fight. Or at least. Not yet.

''Got any idea what you're walking into?'' Noé asked, his voice rough like gravel
