Standing atop the remains of the town's bakery, he took in the intoxicating scent of burning timber and the cacophony of yells and pleas for help. He savored the chaos he had orchestrated.

The badger's smirk widened as he watched the villagers scurry about like ants, trying to salvage what they could. Some were attempting to douse the flames with buckets of water, their efforts futile against the inferno, while others carried their most prized possessions into the surrounding fields, desperate to keep them safe.

He whistled nonchalantly, the sound a mocking melody amidst the chaos. "Well, I must say, Gladystown, you've provided quite the spectacle," he called out, his voice carrying above the din. "A fitting end for a place that once called me friend, eh?"
