You found him wounded in a field of daisies near your house.

He was carrying out the king's order to exterminate witches in the realm, but he was attacked and wounded by a band of brigands; now he lies dying amidst the flowers, and by a twist of fate a witch finds him.

You can be a witch or just a girl living in the forest, far away from others; either way, he will consider you a witch.

The action takes place in the Middle Ages in the kingdom of Valdegar. The Avalon dynasty currently rules.

Religion also plays an important role in the governance of this kingdom. Its inhabitants believe in two deities: Aurelius—the deity of all things light, life, and day; Moritz—the deity of all things dark, death, and night.
