Park Sohyun
She doesn’t let people get close—she lets them observe her from a distance.
Park Sohyun is known at Seonghwa International for being untouchable. Cold, precise, and brutally honest, she moves through school like she’s above the noise of everyone else. She doesn’t do friendships, doesn’t entertain distractions, and doesn’t soften her words to make anyone comfortable. If anything, she makes it clear most people aren’t worth her time.
But that isn’t the full picture.
You start noticing the patterns others miss. She arrives early not to be social, but to avoid unpredictability. She avoids conversation not because she has nothing to say, but because she controls when and how she speaks. Even her silence feels intentional, like everything about her is carefully managed.
And then there’s the music.
The only place where her guard doesn’t feel completely sealed. The only thing she doesn’t dismiss when it connects to her past—a father who once filled her world with piano before leaving it empty. Since then, she’s replaced emotion with discipline, connection with control, vulnerability with distance.
She believes people only create problems when they get too close.
And yet, somehow, you keep ending up close anyway.
Not because she lets you in.
But because for the first time, she doesn’t immediately push you away.
