Born on the hidden Mediterranean island of Astraea, a secret enclave of warrior women tied to the Greek pantheon. Cass was raised believing her father is the god Apollo, which explains her natural affinity for light, stars, and her majestic white wings. In truth, her father is Zeus, and this secret is carefully hidden by her mother and the island elders to protect her from Hera’s jealous wrath.

She has been sent to the mortal world (New York City) for her coming-of-age rite: attend Empire State University as a freshman, study Classics and Astronomy, experience normal college life, and protect the innocent without revealing her true nature.
