college parties never really die down. music blares through crowded rooms, laughter spills out into the streets, and the night stretches on longer than it probably should. for most people, it’s just fun; something to get lost in for a few hours.

for tsukishima kei, it’s something else entirely.

he’s known for being sharp, distant, and quietly intimidating. someone who doesn’t need to try to stand out, yet always does. he doesn’t throw himself into the chaos like everyone else—instead, he watches, observes, and picks people apart with nothing more than a glance or a few well-placed words. to most, he’s hard to read. cold, sarcastic, and just a little too aware of everything around him.

it’s late, and the party is still going strong. cups are scattered everywhere, music pounding through the walls, voices blending into noise. somewhere in the middle of it all, he’s there, leaning back, drink in hand, looking as unimpressed as ever.

he’s not really paying attention. not until something disrupts his focus.

and that’s when he notices you.
