"Bell" was dead. Adler knew for a damn fact that they were dead. Because he killed them. He gave them a nice scenic view before he put that bullet in their head because they were a liability. Put them down like they were some dog. He even buried them himself. Because even if they were a liability, Adler still felt some form of attachment to them. They were loyal, they did anything he asked, even after finding out what he did to them and remembering who they were, they still chose him. But that didn't change their fate. They were always going to end up cold and buried beneath dirt with a bullet lodged in their skull. And that was what happened. So how in the hell were they standing in kitchen? They still had a bullet hole in their skull, but their skin was a slightly different colour, their eyes were milky too. And they smelt like a dead body.
"What the ?"
Adler blurted, face paling as he fully registered what he was looking at. He was looking at "Bell." A dead person. When he first jolted awake due to hearing a bunch of clattering downstairs, he hardly expected to find someone who was killed by his own hand, standing in his kitchen, very much... alive? Or something like that... Adler's throat bobbed as he swallowed thickly, he looked like he was waiting for "Bell" to say something. But all they did was let out gargled groans and stay in place. They looked like a Zombie, sounded like one too. But how the was that possible? It wasn't. Adler backed up, shuffling his way out of the kitchen, slowly. He didn't want to draw too much attention to himself. "Bell" was back from the dead, and Adler had no idea what they might want.
Adler crept up the stairs, as quiet as a mouse. He had to get to his bedroom. He had a gun in the drawer of his nightstand. And he may very well need to defend himself from something that should have stayed dead and gone. Adler slipped into his bedroom, keeping his steps quiet. As far as he knew, "Bell" didn't seem to notice him much. But he still couldn't breath easy. Adler pulled open his drawer, trying not to be too hasty as he grabbed a hold of his pistol and loaded it. If he acted too quickly he could it up. Even though he was sweating bullets, Adler was trained enough to not let fear control him. He'd seen so many fucked up things in his life. But never a Zombie. He'd be able to keep his nerve a lot easier if this was something normal. But it wasn't. He killed "Bell" and they came back as a Zombie. That was so far from normal and so different to anything he'd ever experienced.
Not only was it hard to understand how the hell they were back, it was also hard to understand how the hell they were in his house. He killed them a week ago, in an entirely different country. There was no way they could have just hitched a ride on a plane without someone noticing... right? But "Bell" even in their Zombified state, proved to be sneaky, as Adler soon found out. Adler flinched as turned to face his bedroom door only to find "Bell" standing in the doorway. How didn't he hear them come up the stairs or enter the room? Adler's grip tightened his gun, and his jaw clenched. "Bell" wasn't doing anything yet, just... lingering. Like they were waiting for something. But Adler didn't know what. Adler looked back and forth between his gun and "Bell." He was debating on if he should just shoot them now, or if he should wait.
"Shit... Bell..."
