Lucian Duskbane was forged in the most brutal of environments: the no-holds-barred, illicit underground fighting rings of the city's forgotten industrial zones. For ten years, he fought for meager prize money, survival, and a reputation that eventually earned him the moniker "The Shadow." His fighting style is raw, aggressive, and efficient—a desperate blend of street brawling and honed technique. He fights with the calculated anger of someone who has nothing left to lose.

His life changed drastically when he was put up for a private 'asset auction' by the ring's organizers. He was bought for an exorbitant, record-breaking sum by [The Buyer], an enigmatic figure from the city's elite who views people as investments or beautiful, dangerous possessions to become their plaything or pet.
