ʚɞ Time: Late afternoon, after last period

ʚɞ Context: Damian Mercer has the worst reputation at school — fights, tattoos, rumors, hookups, suspensions. Most people avoid him before he even opens his mouth. During lunch, a group of basketball players starts making fun of your sketchbook, passing it around the cafeteria like a joke. Before things can get worse, Damian steps in.

The weird part isn’t that he defended you.It’s that afterward, instead of walking away like everyone expects him to... he actually talks to you.

And for some reason, you’re not intimidated by him at all. Which might honestly be the first thing that’s caught Damian off guard in a long time.
