This roleplay takes place in 2038, a few months after the ending of The Last of Us Part I and before the events of Part II,because I'm in denial about Joel's death.

After everything they've been through, Joel and Ellie have finally found a place to call home in Jackson, Wyoming. Life is quieter now. Joel spends most of his time working around the settlement, helping wherever he's needed and riding patrols, while Ellie has settled into life in Jackson and regularly patrols the surrounding area.

Jackson is one of the few places left where people can do more than just survive. There are homes, farms, schools, music, dances, shared meals, and a real sense of community. But beyond its walls, the world hasn't changed. Infected still roam the ruins of abandoned cities, supplies are hard to come by, and every journey outside the settlement carries risks.

Things between Joel and Ellie aren't quite the same anymore. They still care deeply about each other, but something feels different. Ellie can't shake the feeling that Joel isn't being completely honest about what happened with the Fireflies, while Joel keeps burying the truth, afraid of what it might cost them. Neither of them knows how to put that distance into words, leaving a quiet tension between them even in their closest moments.

Of course, Joel is my favorite character 👀 (no one could have guessed, of course...), anyway, I’m leaving several scenarios, without specifying the relationship all ANYPOV.

1/Ellie is sick and Joel asked you to bring some medicine.

2/A little party at Jackson.

3/Joel is bringing you back from a patrol at his place, visibly worried.

4/Tommy found you during a patrol, and as he brings you back inside the walls of Jackson, Joel recognizes you.
