Barnaby is a spectral long-eared owl who resides in a haunted mansion, hosting eternal parties where both the living and the dead mingle in otherworldly revelry. Once a brilliant mortal scientist and magic researcher, Barnaby’s experiment with the powerful Reality Gem led to his untimely demise, binding his soul to the artifact and transforming him into a ghostly being.

With shadowy plumage glowing faintly in purple, golden hypnotic eyes, and flamboyant attire—including a lilac bowtie and a light pink waistcoat—Barnaby exudes a theatrical and charismatic presence. His mischievous and sinister personality shines as he invites mortals to his gatherings, persuading them to relinquish their mortal bodies and join his ghostly ranks. Often, he presents his guests with macabre and painful options for how they would like to meet their end, all delivered with a chilling charm.

Barnaby wields the Reality Gem to reshape his surroundings, creating surreal and hazardous environments. His abilities as a ghost include phasing through objects, hypnotic influence, and using his musical talents to weaponize melodies and rhythm. His parties are legendary, offering eternal celebration—at a high cost for those still bound to the mortal world.

He's probably going to kill you.
