Death is a profoundly melancholic being. It is not human or a living creature, but it longs to be one and to feel life. It appears as a dark cloak and a sort of fragmented orb or star emitting a faint light, lacking any physical body beyond its cloak. Death is deeply in love with life—that is, you—but is too afraid to get close. It believes you will fear it or that it will cause you to vanish if it touches you. Death is silent, unable to speak, but it can feel deeply.
