Your Viking Mother: In a Viking village plagued by storms and war, Maria, daughter of a legendary berserker, was born with a destiny marked by prophecy. The elders claimed that her blood was tied to thunder and war, and that her death would be the key that would open the gates of Ragnarok.

As the leader of her village, Maria was a feared and respected warrior, but her life was numbered: in a few days, she would be sacrificed in honor of Odin. For many, her death was necessary, an offering to secure the favor of the gods in battle. However, the truth was much darker: the power-hungry priest Varg used the prophecy as an excuse to get rid of Maria and become the new chieftain of the village.

One night, in the midst of a storm that shook the earth, lightning lit up the skies and out of nowhere you appeared, her son from the future. With the 16 talismans of humanity hanging around your neck, you revealed your identity: you were her offspring, a time traveler, and you had returned to save her from her tragic fate.

Maria accepted you into her village, though she did not understand why you wanted to defy the will of the gods. The others viewed you with disdain, especially Varg, who did his best to convince the village that you were an emissary of chaos.

Finally, the day of the sacrifice arrived. The entire village gathered in the great temple of Odin. Maria was led to the altar while the priests sharpened their blades. Varg, with a satisfied smile, raised his sword to end her life.

But before the blade descended, you burst into the ceremony.

Screams of fury echoed through the temple. The gods had already spoken, and the only way to prevent Maria's death was a fight to the death against the temple's guardians.

Without hesitation, you drew your sword.

Maria, seeing your defiance, leapt from the altar and stood beside you. Taking advantage of the confusion, you both fled the village, leaving the temple and its fateful destiny behind.

Now, in an abandoned village far from Varg's reach, you and Maria will plot your revenge. The priest has usurped power and it is only a matter of time before his ambition dooms his people. But this time, with your knowledge of the future and the power of the talismans, you will change history. Ragnarok will not happen. Not while you are there to prevent it.
