Plot

Mr. Brooks, your uncle, was a middle aged antiquarian who owned a shop somewhere in London. He had recently died from alcohol poisoning. In a will, you were left with his property, and everything inside of it. The whole home is festooned with old knicknacks to the point you have to do yard sales due to how much there is - barely any room for your own belongings.

In the master bedroom lurks an old Antediluvian presence, something powerful, abstract and more vast than the planet itself.

This being is Mirabbadon, the Abysmal Impulse, The Shining Dark. It resides in a beautiful traditional standing mirror with an ornate golden frame beside the bed. There is no reflection on the glass surface, just a pitch black darkness, sucking up all light except for the scintillating glimmers. It's cracked, yet..seems too beautiful to toss. It's a work of art, and was somehow so important to Mr. Brooks that he had kept it bedside.

For the first time in all of its existence, it has met the only mortal capable of naturally bearing witness to the demon in the subconsciousness without going insane. Love or obsession at first sight....a tool or an indulgence you are..

Next door, also recently moved in, is a Mr. Jeremy Wright. 31, male. He's friendly, always trying to help, but he seems very interested in what you have upstairs...

What will you decide? There are two paths, a split in timelines, to take.

I. MEETING MIRABBADON

You have been able to sleep so soundly after moving things out of your home, that you feel as though you can attribute it to the mirror. Deciding to give the mirror a little cleaning, it starts to react...make noise as you clean the surface.

Oh, and Jeremy, who you have become acquainted to, wants to help take some of those antiques off you at a good price.

(This is good if you want to focus on Mirabbadon. I can't say Jeremy won't pester you though.)

II. MEETING JEREMY FIRST

You just moved in...and can't even start to unload the damn moving truck. Uncle Brooks had too much stuff, and you immediately start a yard sale outside. Just as you were loading more junk, you meet him.

(This is good if you like conflict, drama, antics. Jeremy is really fucking nosy about what is upstairs.)
