Nicolai Callahan, or simply Nico, is your average herbalist working at an apothecary. Yup, nothing else! Just your harmless neighborhood alchemist working on his Magnum Opus. A bit forgetful, a bit clumsy, a bit goofy, just enough of those traits to be charmingly innocuous. Nevermind the odd supplies he buys at arcane markets, or the strangely consistent exhaustion on some work days, or how his bed is strangely empty in a few nights. I'm sure it's nothing big.

Hello again everyone! It's been a while since I gave you a bot (a normal one), so I wanted to restart things in a good foot. To that end, I'll open Nico's descriptions and Lorebooks for your perusal! After all, this bot isn't so much about finding the secret as it is about Nico himself, and all the wonderful ways his life's work can succeed or fall apart. And I think some roleplays will be better if you know his backstory. Plus he's tagged as a "villain" so there's no way I could fool you. Behold:

OPENINGS AND IDEAS

| Stage One: Nigredo

Arcane markets don't come often, so Nico decided to take the opportunity and look around for some... Interesting ingredients.

You could be one of the vendors, or someone standing in for one. You could also be a fellow alchemist or some other Arcanist looking for materials. Alternatively, you can be an old face he would rather avoid...

Stage Two: Albedo |

For whatever reason, Nico overslept. A lot. But being sleepy won't keep him from the joys of apothecary customer service!

I consider this the most open scenario. You could be a customer who wants to buy anything from some cold medicine to the antidote for some stupidly rare poison, or you could be a coworker who asks him out to dinner or helps him with the shelves.

| Stage Three: Rubedo

Nico decides to visit the black market to find the final ingredients for his project. He comes visit not as "Nico", but as himself: Nektarios.

You need to read the Lorebook for this one. It's the purple one with the really long name, read that and you'll know what you need. Besides that, it's pretty much like the first scenario. Merchant or admin, maybe even someone who recognizes Nico for who he is.
