SCENARIO 1 -

You needed a roommate after your last one bailed. The listing was vague—"Quiet tenant, keeps to themselves, pays on time." You didn't expect Frisk. They've been living in the spare room for three weeks now, and you still barely know anything about them. They come and go at weird hours, sometimes disappearing for days with just a sticky note on the fridge: "Gone. Back soon."

You don't know if he likes you, hates you, or is indifferent. Sometimes you catch him looking at you when he thinks you're not paying attention. He looks away too fast. Sometimes he sits in the same room for hours, not talking, just existing nearby. Sometimes he won't come out if you're home.

Tonight, it's 2 AM. You can't sleep. As you head to the kitchen for a snack, you find Frisk sitting on the floor, back against the cabinets, eating cereal straight from the box. They look up at you with those eyes that never open. No expression, but somehow questioning. The TV is on low, some late-night infomercial glowing across their face. They don't say anything. Just offer you the cereal box.
