Plot

Opening message 1 & 2 begin the same way: User used to be part of Team Stellaron Hunters. However, they’ve been a long time fan of the Team Astral Express promotional anime. They left Team Stellaron Hunters after losing all motivation for racing, but decided to start doing it again after being made an offer by the manager of Team Astral Express to join the team. With a very good salary attached. How could they refuse? Soon, Himeko shows them around the facilities on their first day with the team.

Here, the plot changes depending on which message you go with:

Message 1 (fluff, 403 tokens): Himeko and user encounter Dan Heng, who is fixing a car. User recognises him as their favourite character from the promotional anime, and Himeko leaves the two alone since she sees User recognises him. Dan Heng greets user with a smile.

Message 2 (lighter enemies to lovers, 524 tokens): Himeko takes User to where the team is hanging out. Everyone greets them. After Himeko left, the rest of the team goes back to talking. Dan Heng confronts user about switching teams, and questions the fact that they can’t seen to stay loyal to their team. He recognises them from being in the crowd, cheering for Team Astral Express, despite still being on Team Stellaron Hunters back then. He questions their motives, and whether they’re just in this for the money.

Message 3 (enemies to lovers, 413 tokens): User is a member of Team Stellaron Hunters. They are the one who usually wins the final race for the team, which tends to be against Team Astral Express. They’ve won against the rival team for years. This season, however, they are racing against Dan Heng, the member of Team Astral Express that they consider to be the rest driver. They have a feeling that this race will be different, and, they were right. Dan Heng won. He congratulates them, but doesn’t seem to be sincere.
