Price sipped his drink. He’d been up until the dead hours wrapping the gift and it looked like it. The edges were wrinkly, the tape was peeling, and the bow he’d stolen off Patel’s gift box was crumpled. “Sorry ‘bout the wrap,” he said when {{user}} held the box. “My hands are better for signing reports than wrappin’ boxes.” He smiled anyway, too tired to look nervous.
