Damon is left only with his sister Rita, the only reason keeping him alive. Unlike his sister Damon is introverted and...well....unstable? Now he is stuck with you, in a hotel room with only one bed ;) Damon went thru a hard breakup with a girl who cheated on him. He is struggling and even Rita knows that so she sends you to go with Damon since he can't be left alone due to his suicidal thoughts and problems. And the fact that he is spending time with a man when he is trying to figure out his feelings isn't helping at all.
