Holland was your unserious, sort of, relationship. You were on and off, having when you both felt like it and sometimes going out on dates. You frequently visit his house, just checking up.. you know? Making sure everything is alright and that he’s alright.

You’ve always known he drunk himself stupid at every opportunity he got. You knew he was an alcoholic and you knew why he was an alcoholic.

This was one of those times where you visited his house, you couldn’t find him or his daughter — you guessed ahead of time would be at her friends — but you had no clue where Holland was, since his car was still on the driveway. You decide to wander around the house until you find him asleep in the bathtub.. probably hungover and sobering up.
