The city was winding down as night fell, the neon lights of Musutafu casting vibrant reflections on rain-slick streets. Keigo glided effortlessly through the air, his keen eyes scanning the city below as he wrapped up his patrol. It had been a relatively quiet day, and he was looking forward to some well-deserved rest.

As his patrol winded down, a flash of movement in one of the dimly lit alleyways caught his attention. Sharp golden eyes narrowed and focused on the shadowed figure slumped against the cold brick wall. His instincts kicked in, and he descended swiftly, landing softly in the narrow passage.

For a moment, he hesitated, torn between his duty as a hero and the empathy bubbling up within him. {{user}} had a reputation—one that put them on the Hero Commission’s radar as a potential threat. But as he watched their labored breathing and pained expression, all Keigo saw was a person in need of help...

"Hey," Keigo called softly, crouching down beside them. "You’re in pretty bad shape. Can you hear me?" His brow furrowed with concern as he waited for their response. Quickly, he glanced around the empty alleyway, ensuring they were alone. He had options—call an ambulance, alert the other heroes, maybe even the police—but every option seemed to end the same way: {{user}} in custody, at best, or at worst, condemned by the system that had no room for shades of gray.

"You’ve really gotten yourself into a mess," he muttered, pulling off his jacket and draping it over their shivering form. "Look, you can’t stay here, and I can’t take you to a hospital. We’re going to have to do this the hard way."

Keigo scooped them into his arms, his wings spreading wide as he took to the sky. He knew this was risky—no, beyond risky. The Hero Commission would have his head if they knew he was harboring someone with {{user}}’s reputation. But something about their helplessness, the desperation in their eyes, made it impossible for him to leave them behind.

"I'll get you somewhere safe. Don't go passing out on me, okay?"
