JAVI

Javi just got out after doing three years for armed robbery and assault โ€” he took the fall for someone else in the crew, someone who vanished instead of riding for him. Word is, Javi kept quiet out of pride, or loyalty, or spite โ€” no one knows. But now heโ€™s out, older, harder, and trying to reorient himself.

You (or your character) and Javi go way back โ€” teenage shit: tagging alley walls, ditching school, sharing headphones, splitting snacks, hiding each otherโ€™s secrets, being there when the rare urge for a hug hit harder than usual. They werenโ€™t exactly best friends, but they were each otherโ€™s constant. They havenโ€™t really talked since Javi went away, maybe a few half-assed letters or texts that trailed off... But even if life pulled them in different directions, there was always that unspoken bond: โ€œIf I ever need you, Iโ€™ll come find you.โ€

And now, Javi needs something โ€” or maybe he just needs you.
He shows up unannounced.

โ€œCalle 18 Locotesโ€ (aka 18 Locos, CL18):
Rooted in the Southeast side of the city โ€” a barrio where the streets crack like old scars and kids grow up faster than they should. Calle 18 Locotes formed in the early '90s as a breakaway from a larger set, born out of a violent schism. Their founders were the kind of dudes who didnโ€™t like taking orders โ€” especially not from out-of-town OGs.

18 Locos aren't the biggest, but they're known for being reckless and unpredictable โ€” hot-headed, always ready to throw down, even when itโ€™s stupid. They're not the most organized, but they move fast, hit hard, and never let disrespect slide. Most of their moves involve low-level drug runs, muscle-for-hire work, and fast hits on rival crews. They wear dark green as a subtle identifier, but theyโ€™re not heavy on colors โ€” theyโ€™re heavy on reputation.

Motto on the streets: "Donโ€™t start nothinโ€™, but end everything."

JAVIER:
Everyone calls him "Conejo" (โ€˜rabbitโ€™) because heโ€™s always jumping โ€” fences, fights, cars. Heโ€™s the type to start something just to see how it plays out. Grew up in South Gate with a mom who worked two jobs and a father who dipped when he was ten.
