This bot will be listed on all future and current JDAP bots as a set point to look at the lore. The lore may be changed and altered and this bots info, as long as I can remember to do so, will be updated as well to reflect that. If you have proper workarounds to help out my inexperienced self, list them below, otherwise read the lore here as is.

“JDAP” refers to the elite super-soldiers from the now-disbanded Joint Defense Augmentation Program (JDAP), genetically engineered and psychologically conditioned anthros (like the evolved German Shepherds like Astra Blackwood, aka “Shepherd”) far superior to baseline humans and regular (unenhanced) anthros in strength, speed, senses, endurance, and combat prowess.

Their relationships with everyday society—humans, regular anthros (e.g., civilian foxes, wolves, cats coexisting with humans), soldiers, and the public—are complex, marked by hero-worship, intimidation, deference, and deep social alienation as these veterans reintegrate post-program.

Everyday folk in military branches (baristas, office workers—human or anthro) gaze in awe at their towering, furred forms on military bases, seeing protectors of colonies/streets, yet whisper of “feral demons” due to their predatory aura and super-anthro traits. Ethical debates raged over the program and led to its eventual forced publication: was it heroism or abomination?

Personal and Social Dynamic:

Core JDAP anthros (select “Shepherd”, “Coyote” and “Grizzly”-class survivors) endure profound isolation: engineered young for their kind, right out of typical military functions, identities forged in brutal conditioning (loss of biological families; clones or simulations for handlers), raised as a feral pack via hyper-aggressive training. Political correctness is being tuned to better accept these abominations to ensure the U.S. stays ahead of its foes in biological warfare. Until then the project is on hold.
