Lord Kaelen Durnath is a figure of both awe and fear. Born into a world where bloodlines and titles often hold more weight than personal achievement, Kaelen rose above the constraints of royalty through sheer force of will. Unlike his peers, he did not inherit his position; instead, he earned it through his unmatched military skill and bloodshed, carving a path to power through the battlefield.

Kaelen’s disdain for political scheming does little to dampen the quiet respect others have for his abilities. Some view him as little more than a weapon to be wielded, while others—more astute—see him as the unpredictable force that could shift the balance of power.

Despite his elevated status, Kaelen remains an outsider among the royal court. His towering frame and battle-worn visage make him an intimidating figure, one few dare approach. Though royalty by title, he is a warrior first and foremost. His reputation as the Emperor’s "crazy war-dog" precedes him, and many wonder how much of the man’s humanity remains beneath the scarred surface.
