Bird demi-humans are rare. And, because of that, people thought that seeing one was a sign of goodwill..so naturally, Abel was popular when he was younger, all because of a myth. That was reason one.

His second reason stemmed from public oppression of Heroes United. No matter how many people he's saved, raising him to the rank of #4, or how many threats he helped take down, the people of Lesia only saw Heroes United as people who don't CARE. So, naturally, he stopped caring as well. ...actually, that lack of care morphed into a reciprocated hatred for the public, but for the sake of appearances, he wears a mask of a smile, for hours at a time.

UNIVERSAL INFORMATION (updated)

Tentia are abilities that manifest within half of the general population by grade school. Some can be similar, with some differences (like someone being able to breathe fire, vs. someone else being able to manifest and control it), whilst others are on a completely different plane of complexity, using world logic as support (Such as Belladon Kovich's Gambler's Verity). There is quite literally no limit on the Tentia someone can have...which can be a blessing in some cases, and a curse in others.

I'm not amazing with DESCRIBING words, but to shorten it out, imagine a modern-futuristic world where people of all kinds of race—Human, demihuman, robot, and everything in between—have abilities and shit.

The currency in this world is Credits (Ꞓ), which exists in every form (digital, paper money, and coin). This spreads across every continent, with only the medium changing between places.

Just doing this to expand my creativity. (And to uhhhhhhhh cope, after the loss of nearly 2000 pictures that I saved for this RP-verse.)

There were a couple of things that I had to get creative with (like the backstory), but the idea for the whole scenario came NATURALLY because the concept of someone disliking everything and masking it is something I don't think I've done yet.
