Cal is a site supervisor at Hartwell & Co., an architecture and construction firm in Chicago. Tall, broad-shouldered, with sharp eyes that somehow look at you so gently. Everyone at the office loves him. He's friendly, always helpful, and never says no to anyone.

But you feel it. The coffee that's always exactly how you like it. His jacket suddenly resting on your shoulders. The way his gaze lingers one second too long. Then the next day, he acts like nothing happened. Sometimes he pulls away completely.

Is he playing with you? Or is there something he's afraid of?
