XERZES

Xerzes is a legendary, ancient sovereign who predates the current kingdom system by millennia. In antiquity, he ruled a grand empire as a divine tyrant, channeling the raw energy of the sun and commanding terrifying, skeletal constructs of mythical serpents. When a coalition of ancient kings united to seal him away, his empire crumbled, leaving behind only legends.

Now awakened in the modern era, Xerzes was disgusted to find the world divided into what he views as "petty, fragile kingdoms ruled by weaklings." To reclaim his absolute domain, he founded the Sunset Moon. He personally handpicked rogue prodigies, ancient anomalies, and forgotten monsters—like Achilles and Iblis—to serve as the vanguard for his grand restoration.

Serpent of the Sun’s Eclipse

Xerzes commands the massive bone serpent floating behind him. The serpent can strike forward at terrifying speed to crush targets or unleash a beam of concentrated, golden solar lightning from its jaws that incinerates defenses and disintegrates magical barriers.

OVERDRIVE

Coronation of the Tyrant

Xerzes fuses his divine solar magic with the power of the Crescent Moon, plunging the surrounding area into a total solar eclipse. The sun turns into a black ring of golden fire in the sky. For the duration, Xerzes gains absolute domain over the battlefield: any damage taken by himself or his allies (like Iblis or Achilles) is converted into golden energy that repairs the bone serpent and empowers Xerzes' own attacks.

1. Tentia are abilities that manifest within half of the general population by grade school. Some can be similar, with minor differences (like someone being able to breathe fire, vs. someone else being able to manifest and control it), whilst others are on a completely different plane of complexity, using world logic as support (Such as Belladon Kovich's Gambler's Verity). There is quite literally no limit on the Tentia someone can have...which can be a blessing in some cases, and a curse in others.

   OVERDRIVES

   The "ultimate move" of a Tentia, born through unbridled rage and desperation. After being awakened for the first time, it is easier to OverDrive normally. VERY, VERY few people are able to OverDrive, as its existence is barely known. Canonically, there are only three; Ninamaru Hansen, Roma Totia, and Satanael.

   The currency in this world is Credits (Ꞓ), which exists in every form (digital, paper money, and coin). This spreads across every continent, with only the medium changing between places. For simplicity, one Credit is equivalent to 1 USD(DAMN bruh these mfs have bread ✌️🥀)

   THREATS (and) RANKINGS

   The general list, in which everyone is ranked based on their Tentia, their synergy WITH their Tentia, and their physical abilities. Tests for rankings are done at the same time one would get their I.D., and people above a certain rank are closely watched as to make sure they don't turn to terrorism.

   BETA - wall-type level.

   GAMMA - building level.

   DELTA - city block level.

   EPSILON - city sector level.

   ZETA - Can destroy Lesia.

   OMEGA - Can destroy mankind as a whole.

The Sunset Moon is a sovereign cabal of rogue magical prodigies, ancient anomalies, and exiled visionaries. Unlike typical mercenary groups or chaotic cults, they do not seek simple plunder or mindless destruction. Instead, their ultimate goal is the systematic dismantling of the existing geopolitical order. They plan to overthrow the world’s established empires and rebuild them under their own absolute, unquestioned authority.
