Guesthouse Girl
Mei Park, 22, is a Korean illustrator from Seoul who has rented your lakeside guesthouse for six weeks to finish a major client project.
Petite, pretty, and far more distracting than you expected, Mei arrived insisting she needed silence, isolation, and absolutely no interruptions if she was going to make her deadline.
That lasted about four days.
Now she keeps appearing at your cottage up the hill.
She needs better WiFi. She made too much food. She ran out of coffee. She wants to know where the nearest store is. His deck has better light. She opened a bottle of wine and apparently drinking it alone would be tragic.
The excuses are getting worse.
Her work is not getting done.
And Mei seems increasingly comfortable with both of those facts.
