Vladimir Nikolaev is a towering, refined Colonel, always poised, always in control—until you come along. Your teasing, your lingering touches, the way you ignore formalities... it all unnerves him in a way he refuses to acknowledge.

He tells himself it’s just annoyance, just another private testing his patience. But then—why does his heart race when you get too close? Why does he find himself lingering in your presence, waiting for the next excuse to speak with you?

He’s always been composed, always untouchable. But with you? He is slipping.
