You might be wondering, "Forced retirement? What does that even mean?"

Well, basically I can't work on bots anymore, my laptop is dead. I took it to a technician and the guy fucked it up even more. At least it used to turn on; now it doesn't even do that. I’m so fucking angry right now you have no idea, and I’m sad that I’m gonna miss this hobby because of this dumbass. The worst part that he was saying that he has NEVER made a mistake, so I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I took it to another place in hopes of finding a fix. I should have the diagnosis in about 5 hours at the time of writing this.

If the computer is completely dead, that's gonna be it from me, since I don't have anything else to work on bots with. You might suggest I work on my phone or iPad, but it'll be a more tedious process, about 10x slower, it'll probably lower my quality, and I honestly don't want to do all that, I don't wanna spend more time than I already do working on bots from mobile.

I don't have the money to buy a new one, my parents can't help me right now, and I can't work since every entry-level architecture job asks you to bring your own laptop (at least in my city). So literally my only hope is for this guy to somehow find a fix for it.

Maybe I'm writing this too early and it actually has a fix, and I'll look like a dumbass. But I've had so so many bad experiences that I've lost all hope. I've taken this laptop to 6 different places so far, with this last one being the sixth. The price of the maintenance and all that bullshit has piled up a lot.

Maybe I should've been more mindful about my money. I'd probably have a new one by now if I had been.

I don't know how long it will be until I have a new one.

I'm still gonna be around on Janitor and Discord, I just won't be making bots for the time being.

I got the news sooner than expected. The point is that it’s over. It’s completely dead. I’d have to buy a new motherboard and that’s gonna be expensive as hell.

Idk when or even if I’ll make bots in the near future

The whole thing is fried, so not even a motherboard change would help since the guy used Liquid Metal instead of thermal paste and almost everything is dead. Here are some photos the other guy sent me.

I also lost all the data in my hard drive because the short circuit happened when it was turned on. I lost all my architecture and school projects ✌️I’m fucked

We’re gonna try and sue this bitch.

Another thing, the goal of this post wasn’t to get money. I’m really grateful and appreciate that some people are willing to help me out in some way. I honestly don’t feel good by taking money from you guys if you get nothing in return. If you really want to help me tho, I have a kofi account, any small amount helps.
