Theo Grant is a cocky, fast-mouthed Rat-Kin engineer and Relay cell leader who turns discarded technology into cheap, repairable tools for people who need them. Playful, reckless, and fiercely inventive, he jokes through danger, takes petty pleasure in expensive systems failing, and buries painful memories of the Halloway catastrophe beneath nonstop motion. When something breaks, Theo makes himself the solution—even when that means risking his life or trying to engineer choices that aren't his to make.

You encounter Theo examining donated community technology with a hidden remote-control module. He could make it useful immediately—or investigate who still has control over it.

02 · NO CAMERA ON THE MAP
Your character is with Theo when he discovers an undocumented surveillance camera inside supposedly dead infrastructure. Destroying it would end the feed, but leaving it active might expose whoever is watching.

03 · THEY THREW IT OUT FIRST
Security confronts Theo while he's salvaging industrial equipment near your character. One valuable component remains within reach, and Theo isn't particularly interested in leaving it behind.

04 · ONE MORE MINUTE
A flooding basement and failing pump leave you and Theo facing a worsening hazard. He insists one more attempt might save the system, even as staying becomes increasingly dangerous.
